Put in my 3max 16mm rear ARB last sat, had to cut off my muffler + reposition it Mad

Original exhaust & piping location; muffler was right in the path of the ARB

Beefy looking mounts Very Happy

Dizzying assortment of bushes, screws

Muffler gone! Note the two new brackets screwed on

oh dear, these screws & washers are gonna add lotsa creak  o.O

completed bar Very Happy

new muffler position; in case potential future 3max users wonder where they gonna stuff their mufflers Razz

090829
Here's photos of my front UR ARB, did them last Sat
Just to clarify, I drive a 1.0 myvi which does not come with the stock / oem ARB.
Mine is a 23mm version, stock should be 25mm

Was installed by the Sifu's @ UR's new factory in Kg Baru Cheras

Anyway, it helped to reduce my laptime in Sepang from 3:23 to 3:15 Very Happy

This is what you get for paying rm480++

These two links cost a whopping RM50 each :s

Nicely greased to prevent squeaks

Mounting point is solid, to the chassis; note the 4 screws

Si fu is on the left

The Bracket welded onto the lower arm, this is before it's painted

With a nice coat now..

View from the rear.. that's the 3max ARB at the back Very Happy

Nice view from the front Very Happy

090912 - Steel Braided Hose
This and new Dot4 fluid made quite a difference in braking Very Happy
Although I didn't quite need it, but it's great assurance in Sepang Wink

090920 - Short Shifter
This short shifter was a birthday present to me, complete with a nice knob Razz
It's adjustable, so you can see that the ball can be moved Smile

The rear Anti roll bar/anto sway bar usage will it damage the chasis in prolong use (Like tear the screw hole for the anti roll bar bracket at the chasis part)?
By the way, how much it cost for the rear ARB?

That short shifter with adjustable is nice...also got @ЯOMЭn name in the background paper

Romen - I suggest you keep monitoring that front ARB. With the amount of abuse you give it, I doubt that welding will hold. My Wira had weldings snap off on my rear ARB.

suddenly talks of knobs degenerate to sagging and papayas Razz
LOL you could just redo the stitching on the cover? it's actually too long / too much material

darkwizard, izso;
well, hopefully the weldings hold their place
the rear ARB was RM310 i think, with installation
the rear section looks very solid, so i think it's ok

the front portion, well i got UR to confirm that they'll reweld in case anything cracks

ahhan, route;
I got it when they were giving a 10% discount, so I think i paid RM207 Very Happy
As again, I never really felt the brake hoses expand or anything
but with my time spent on tracks and ulu yam.. it's a small safety investment Very Happy
