What Is ElektroGlow Panel?

Based on Electroluminescent Technology, ElektroGlow panels lights up and animates in the dark. All that is needed to power up an ElektroGlow panel is a 12V power source. Currently we recommend that our ElektroGlow panels be used in Cars and PC’s (the ElektroGlow panels come with an optional Molex connector that makes it effortless to install on a PC). However for those of you who are adventurous, the ElektroGlow panel can be used anywhere! Electroluminescent is typically used in after market premium car gauges and dashboard meter panel.

How does it work?

An organic phosphor is sandwiched between two conductors. When an AC signal of sufficient voltage and frequency is applied to the conductors an electric field is formed across the phosphor. This causes the phosphor to emit visible light.

ElektroGlow use Electroluminescent technology to produce a dazzling lighted effect, creating a radiant display of pulsating light. ElektroGlow panels have micro-electrodes leading from each independent flashing element to a driver. In addition to storing the animation, each inverter also has a high frequency power inverter and an IC chip. The power inverter increases voltage, making the Elektroglow panel exceptionally bright.

How to install the ElektroGlow on your car

If you want the EL Panel to power up when you turn on your lights just connect it to the lighting wires of your car. It is that simple!

How to install the ElektroGlow on your PC

Connect the molex connector to the power supply of your PC and your EL Panel will be powered on. Any PSU will be able to supply the 12 volts needed to turn on the EL Panel.
